1) WEB DEVELOPER

Position

  • We are looking for a PHP/Magento developer to join our team in our our newly designed central Glasgow penthouse office.  We are conveniently located two minutes from Glasgow Central Station.

Hours

  • Normal working hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday however you will be expected to pick up additional hours during busy periods or to cover staff absence.

Responsibilities

  • Developing both front and back-end of www.ohpolly.com on an on-going basis (Magento Community v1.9).
  • Assisting with the launching of a new site based on the ohpolly.com template.
  • Conducting performance and speed-optimisation reviews on a regular basis. 
  • Executing module upgrades and bug fixes on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring on-going PCI compliance.

Education

  • You should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area. 

Experience/Skills

  • PHP/MySQL experience
  • Version control (git)
  • Multiple store Magento integrations
  • Magento ecommerce templates and layouts
  • Web server management and working with Linux
  • Semantically marked-up HTML
  • CSS, including experience with pre-processors (Sass)
  • Writing clean and maintainable Javascript, jQuery, AJAX and XML
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign for web production (e.g. cropping, masks, selection, layer comps, creating SVGs)
  • Experience in developing responsive and mobile sites
  • Eye for detail and alignment as well as a solid understanding of UX
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Bonus Points

  • Experience building custom Magento extensions and extending existing extensions
  • Pair programming

2) SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE

Position

  • We are seeking a Social Media executive to join us on a full-time basis in our newly designed central Glasgow penthouse office.

Hours

  • Normal working hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday however you will be expected to pick up additional hours during busy periods or to cover staff absence.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing product and non-product content for display across our social media platforms.
  • Post scheduling, analysis and planning. 
  • Assisting in idea generation and plan execution for FB Live, Instagram Stories, Snapchat and Promo events. 
  • Competitor social media analysis and monitoring.
  • Writing snappy and engaging copy to go along side social media posts. 
  • Engaging with our followers on a professional and personal level via content, public posts, tweets, etc.
  • You will be expected to bring new ideas to the table on a regular basis and be aware of what other competitors are doing and which type of content is currently trending.

Education

  • You should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area. 

Experience/Skills

  • You should be extremely knowledgeable about our target market.
  • You should have a creative flair and basic knowledge of Photoshop as you will be expected to crop/resize/mirror and touch up images. 
  • You should have at-least one year experience managing, planning and executing the content of a company or non-profit social media account. 
  • You should be an avid user or at least current with all the main social media platforms; Facebook, twitter, youtube, Instagram and Pinterest.

Personal Qualities

  • You should have an eye for current trends and follow celebrity cultural.
  • You should be extremely creative.  We are looking for someone who is bubbling with ideas and the enthusiasm to implement them.

3) GRAPHICS DESIGNER 

Position

  • We are seeking a Graphics Designer to work with us on a full-time basis from August 15th 2017 in our newly designed central Glasgow penthouse office.

Hours

  • Normal working hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday however you will be expected to pick up additional hours during busy periods or to cover staff absence.

Responsibilities

  • E-comm imagery touch ups and edits. 
  • Creation of high quality graphics and artwork for use across our advertising and social platforms.  
  • Assisting in the exection of e-comm and campaign photo shoots.
  • Colour adjustments and edits according to seasonal pantone developments. 
  • Organisation and creation of product listings on our website using the in-built CMS (Magento). 

Education

  • You should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area. 

Experience/Skills

  • You should be extremely knowledgeable about our target market.
  • You should have a creative flair and excellent knowledge of Photoshop as you will be expected to perform edits and touchups to an extremely professional standard.  
  • You should have at-least one year industrial experience.

  • You should be extremely creative.  We are looking for someone who is bubbling with ideas and the abilty to convey that enthusiasm in their art.
  • We want someone who is efficient. You will be expected to create great content quickly and to a high standard.

Position

  • We are seeking a web designer (with SEO knowledge) to work with us on a full-time basis from September 2017 in our newly designed central Glasgow penthouse office.

Hours

Responsibilities

Web Management

  • Product page creation using ready prepared copy and imagery
  • Website Category Management 
  • Internal site search optimisation

SEO

  • Meta Descriptions and Keywords
  • Optimising for SEO site wide
  • Optimising for SEO across advert platforms 
  • Google Analytics Reporting

Web Design

  • Competitor Website Analysis
  • Liasing with external agencies on quarterly UX reviews
  • Management of Website Front End Changes
  • Reporting to Management regarding Web Development progress.

Education

  • You should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area. 

Experience/Skills

  • You should be extremely knowledgeable about our target market from a keyword and SEO perspective.  
  • You should have a creative flair and the ability to use basic graphics packages as you will be expected to create mockups for future site development 
  • You should know your way around Google Analytics (or other similar stats package) and be able to draw meaninful conclusions from the data. 
  • You should have at-least one year industrial experience in a similar role.
