1) WEB DEVELOPER

Position

  • We are looking for a PHP/Magento developer, who can be based at either our Glasgow or Bromborough offices.

Hours

  • Normal working hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday however you will be expected to pick up additional hours during busy periods or to cover staff absence.

Responsibilities

  • Developing both front and back-end of www.ohpolly.com on an on-going basis (Magento Community v1.9).
  • Assisting with the launching of a new site based on the ohpolly.com template.
  • Conducting performance and speed-optimisation reviews on a regular basis. 
  • Executing module upgrades and bug fixes on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring on-going PCI compliance.

Education

2) SENIOR TECHNICAL DESIGNER

Position

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Senior Technical Designer to join our rapidly growing Women’s fashion company Oh Polly in our newly renovated premises in Panyu District, Guangzhou, China. You will join a team of twenty responsible for creating our next line of products including; party dresses, swim and loungewear. Knowledge of Chinese is not required as we have a multi-lingual team.

Hours

Normal working hours are 9am-6.30pm Monday-Friday with 1.5 hours for lunch.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of tech packs.
  • Technical Development of products for Oh Polly and sub-brands (troubleshooting grading/pattern issues, fabric selection, stitching & construction methods).  
  • Creative Development of products for Oh Polly and sub-brands (sketching and design development)
  • Trend forecasting and prediction.
  • Organising design team plan and schedule. 
  • Management of samples under development.
  • Approvals of PP samples with assistance from technical team.

Education

You should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area either through institutional or industrial based learning.

Experience/Skills

  • 5+ years in women’s fashion as a designer or technical consultant for a large international brand.
  • Experience working with luxury brands (BONUS).
  • Experience working with and mentoring junior designers.

3)  Production & Quality Assurance Manager

Position

We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Production & Quality Assurance Manager to join us in our factory in Panyu District, Guangzhou, China.

About You

You are highly organised and have strong management and leadership skills.  You will be able to efficiently plan and organise the production process in order to ensure that deadlines and targets are met.

You have an excellent eye for detail and will manage quality checks to ensure that all garments are produced in line with the brand’s standards of quality and excellence.

You will also have strong knowledge of production processes and have astute problem solving skills in order to plan production quantities and processes based on the urgency of certain styles.

Overall, you should be efficient, pragmatic and passionate about ensuring that the best possible standards are met.

Position

Position

We are seeking a super friendly and hardworking Returns Assistants to join our fast-paced Returns team within our Bromborough office on a permanent basis.

Hours

6) Fashion Copywriter

Position
We are seeking an ambitious and creative fashion copywriter to work with us on a full-time basis to join our growing team at our Glasgow city centre HQ.

About You

You are extremely creative with impeccable English grammar and an excellent fashion vocabulary.

You are current, on-trend and have a strong passion and interest in lady’s fashion - in particular you must have a solid understanding of the Oh Polly target market and be capable of creating copy that is engaging and appeals to our audience and customers.

You are also bursting with ideas and energy – and have the confidence to share your creative vision with the brand.  Your creative input should shine through when generating ideas for promotional videos, social media, SEO, email marketing, our blog and online advertising (to name a few!)

You are also highly efficient and organised, and right at home developing intricate project plans, or providing in depth analytics and numerical projections.  A love for statistics and reporting would be an added bonus!

You should also be able to identify with the Oh Polly target market and understand who our customers are.  You will be expected to conduct regular competitor analysis and bring your own creative vision to the role – so it goes without saying that creativity, enthusiasm and tenacity are a pre-requisite!

Position
