1) WEB DEVELOPER

Position

We are looking for a PHP/Magento developer, who can be based at either our Glasgow or Bromborough offices.

Hours

  • Normal working hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday however you will be expected to pick up additional hours during busy periods or to cover staff absence.

Responsibilities

  • Developing both front and back-end of www.ohpolly.com on an on-going basis (Magento Community v1.9).
  • Assisting with the launching of a new site based on the ohpolly.com template.
  • Conducting performance and speed-optimisation reviews on a regular basis. 
  • Executing module upgrades and bug fixes on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring on-going PCI compliance.

Education

  • You should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area. 

Experience/Skills

  • PHP/MySQL experience
  • Version control (git)
  • Multiple store Magento integrations
  • Magento ecommerce templates and layouts
  • Web server management and working with Linux
  • Semantically marked-up HTML
  • CSS, including experience with pre-processors (Sass)

2) IMAGE RETOUCHER

Position

We are seeking a skilled Image Retoucher to join our rapidly growing team. You will be responsible for editing our campaign and ecomm imagery to a high professional standard for display on website and social media platforms. 

Hours

Normal working hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Image retouching
  • Cropping and resizing while maintaining image quality.
  • Compression and image size optimisation. 

Education

No requirements.

Experience/Skills

  • 2+ years working in image retouching.
  • Experience working in a retail or fashion environment (Bonus) 
  • Experience working quickly and efficiently and to a high standard. 
  • You should have advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop or other professional image editing software.

3)  Production & Quality Assurance Manager

Position

We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Production & Quality Assurance Manager to join us in our factory in Panyu District, Guangzhou, China.

About You

You are highly organised and have strong management and leadership skills.  You will be able to efficiently plan and organise the production process in order to ensure that deadlines and targets are met.

You have an excellent eye for detail and will manage quality checks to ensure that all garments are produced in line with the brand’s standards of quality and excellence.

You will also have strong knowledge of production processes and have astute problem solving skills in order to plan production quantities and processes based on the urgency of certain styles.

Overall, you should be efficient, pragmatic and passionate about ensuring that the best possible standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Production and Quality Supervisors.
  • Development of in-house Quality Control Procedures.
  • Monitoring of out-sourced Production.
  • Quality control auditing, record keeping and reporting.

Hours

3)  Customer Service Assistant 

Position

We are seeking a friendly and hardworking Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced Customer Service team within our Bromborough office on a permanent basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for dealing with customers via email, social media and over the telephone.

Hours

This is a full time role working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility is an essential requirement of the role in order to meet with customer demand.

4) Returns Assistant

Position

We are seeking a super friendly and hardworking Returns Assistants to join our fast-paced Returns team within our Bromborough office on a permanent basis.

Hours

5) Fashion Copywriter

Position
We are seeking an ambitious and creative fashion copywriter to work with us on a full-time basis to join our growing team at our Glasgow city centre HQ.

About You

You are extremely creative with impeccable English grammar and an excellent fashion vocabulary.

You are current, on-trend and have a strong passion and interest in lady’s fashion - in particular you must have a solid understanding of the Oh Polly target market and be capable of creating copy that is engaging and appeals to our audience and customers.

You are also bursting with ideas and energy – and have the confidence to share your creative vision with the brand.  Your creative input should shine through when generating ideas for promotional videos, social media, SEO, email marketing, our blog and online advertising (to name a few!)

You will also have an in depth understanding of effective SEO, marketing and email marketing techniques in order to drive customer engagement and increase sales with the brand.

You should be capable of creating unique, engaging and SEO friendly product descriptions for our website on a daily basis in support of our Web Content Manager.
  • You should have a good understanding of what SEO means within the field of online sales and how to apply SEO within your writing where relevant while maintaining interesting and comprehensive copy.
  • You must be able to keep within a specified theme when creating copy/content for posting on our social media and maintain a consistent level of excellence.
  • You should have a good knowledge of email marketing and how copy can be used to increase click-through rates and email response rates and then tailor your copy to suit our style.
