1) WEB DEVELOPER

Position

  • We are looking for a PHP/Magento developer to join a team of three developers in our our newly designed central Glasgow penthouse office.  We are conveniently located two minutes from Glasgow Central Station.

Hours

  • Normal working hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday however you will be expected to pick up additional hours during busy periods or to cover staff absence.

Responsibilities

  • Developing both front and back-end of www.ohpolly.com on an on-going basis (Magento Community v1.9).
  • Assisting with the launching of a new site based on the ohpolly.com template.
  • Conducting performance and speed-optimisation reviews on a regular basis. 
  • Executing module upgrades and bug fixes on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring on-going PCI compliance.

Education

  • You should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area. 

Experience/Skills

  • PHP/MySQL experience
  • Version control (git)
  • Multiple store Magento integrations
  • Magento ecommerce templates and layouts
  • Web server management and working with Linux
  • Semantically marked-up HTML
  • CSS, including experience with pre-processors (Sass)
  • Writing clean and maintainable Javascript, jQuery, AJAX and XML
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign for web production (e.g. cropping, masks, selection, layer comps, creating SVGs)

2) SENIOR TECHNICAL DESIGNER

Position

  • We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Senior Technical Designer to join our rapidly growing Women’s fashion company Oh Polly in our newly renovated premises in Panyu District, Guangzhou, China. You will join a team of twenty responsible for creating our next line of products including; party dresses, swim and loungewear. Knowledge of Chinese is not required as we have a multi-lingual team.

Hours

  • Normal working hours are 9am-6.30pm Monday-Friday with 1.5 hours for lunch.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of tech packs.
  • Technical Development of products for Oh Polly and sub-brands (troubleshooting grading/pattern issues, fabric selection, stitching & construction methods).  
  • Creative Development of products for Oh Polly and sub-brands (sketching and design development)
  • Trend forecasting and prediction.
  • Organising design team plan and schedule. 
  • Management of samples under development.
  • Approvals of PP samples with assistance from technical team.

Education

  • You should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area either through institutional or industrial based learning.

Experience/Skills

  • 5+ years in women’s fashion as a designer or technical consultant for a large international brand.
  • Experience working with luxury brands (BONUS).
  • Experience working with and mentoring junior designers.
  • You should be knowledgeable about our target market (party dresses, swim, lingerie and lounge)
  • Specialise in knitwear (90% knit, 10% woven)

3)  Junior Web Developer

Position

We are seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our growing team in our penthouse office in Glasgow City Centre.

About You

You should have a passion for technology, web development and be constantly looking to take your career to the next level. Key Responsibilities

  • Management of brand website(s).
  • Web Development.
  • Involvement in in design meetings related to the brand and the way the brand is represented on our websites.
  • Developing wire-frames around key concepts and designs.
  • Liaising with graphics team to develop mock-ups and create assets for the web.
  • Developing HTML and CSS code in commented and modular format.
  • Assisting in the redevelopment of HTML templates for Newsletters and other electronic formats as required.
  • Critically evaluating competitor websites through both web and mobile customer experience perspective and applying knowledge to our brand(s).
  • Maintaining company repositories, ticketing system and wiki articles.

4)  Head of Customer Experience

Position

We are seeking an ambitious, skilled and organised Head of Customer Experience to join our growing team. Our office is based in Bromborough, a 20 minutes drive from Liverpool city centre.

About You

You are passionate about the way in which consumers and customers interact with brands in the social media age. You understand the expectations customers have when dealing with a company and know how to use that to your advantage.

You have previous customer service experience at both junior and management levels in the fashion, retail or e-commerce sectors.

You are a natural leader and know how to set targets, develop processes & motivate your team to achieve success. You will be supportive, encouraging and adept at implementing training and development plans for junior colleagues.

You will be able to critically analyse our current customer service efforts and make sustained improvements through; development of systems and processes, use of best practices, improved tone of voice, industry leading response times and to assist in framing policy.

You will be capable of creating hi-level management reports with regards to departmental performance, able to benchmark us against competitors and know where to find the best educational and training resources.

You are a champion of the customer experience and ways in which brands can personalise that experience to satisfy and occasionally "wow" their customers.

Working Hours

This is a full-time role, however a degree of flexibility is required based on operational demand. Hours of work will be on a rotational shift basis, with occasional weekend working required.

Our current customer service windows operate between the hours of:

  • 8.00am – 7.00pm Monday – Thursday
  • 9.00am – 6.00pm Friday
  • 10.00am – 4.00pm Saturday & Sunday

5)  Production & Quality Assurance Manager

Position

We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Production & Quality Assurance Manager to join us in our factory in Panyu District, Guangzhou, China.

About You

You are highly organised and have strong management and leadership skills.  You will be able to efficiently plan and organise the production process in order to ensure that deadlines and targets are met.

You have an excellent eye for detail and will manage quality checks to ensure that all garments are produced in line with the brand’s standards of quality and excellence.

You will also have strong knowledge of production processes and have astute problem solving skills in order to plan production quantities and processes based on the urgency of certain styles.

Overall, you should be efficient, pragmatic and passionate about ensuring that the best possible standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Production and Quality Supervisors.
  • Development of in-house Quality Control Procedures.
  • Monitoring of out-sourced Production.
  • Quality control auditing, record keeping and reporting.
  • Production Planning.
  • Development of monthly production budgets and targets.

Hours

Normal working hours are 9:00am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

You will be expected to work one Saturday per month.

  • You should have previous quality and production management experience within a garment factory setting.

6)  Customer Service Assistant 

Position

We are seeking a friendly and hardworking Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced Customer Service team within our Bromborough office on a permanent basis.

As a member of our Customer Service team, you’ll be a super friendly people person with technical flair and a passion for delivering exceptional standards of customer care.

You will be responsible for dealing with customers via email, social media and over the telephone.
